Femininity; Friend or Foe? A Evening Celebrating What it Means to Identify as Female.
The evening will showcase female writers sharing their voices and experiences as women. Poets, Playwrights, Bloggers, and all will be joining us on stage.
Want to add your voice? Submit your writing to us via our Google Form!
All submissions will be reviewed anonymously by all 5 of us boss ladies and we will be unanimously choosing 10-15 of our favorites for our 90-minute event!
In honor of Domestic Abuse Awareness month, all proceeds from Femininity; Friend or Foe will be going to support the National Network to End Domestic Violence. The NNEDV is the leading voice for domestic violence victims and their advocates. With nearly 3 women killed every day by domestic violence, we are proud to support the NNEDV and take a stand against domestic violence.
“The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), a social change organization, is dedicated to creating a social, political and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists.” For more information or to make a donation of your own, please see their website; http://nnedv.org/
