HOPE

HOPE

Hope: Today’s feels.

Last night, we held a Happy Hour at Sid Gold’s Request Room in Chelsea, Manhattan. When we planned this, the intentions were to gather writers, contributors, friends and family to cnnekt. However, recent news altered the night's agenda.

Surpisingly, the vibes were extremely positive. About 12 of us sat around the beautifully designed room that looked like a “mermaids home” according to Chary and vented our feelings. We found comfort in each other's company, gave tight hugs and shed a few tears. Although that description doesn't seem like the most ideal way to spend a happy hour, these feelings were uplighting and supportive.

WE NEEDED THIS.

So THANK YOU to all who came out and showed love . We are better together.

Until the next #getCnnekted meet up.
